Notice regarding the recording of deeds in Delaware County, Ohio:

Probate Paralegal Services, LLC offices are conveniently located within minutes of the Delaware County Administration building and the Delaware County Probate Court in historic downtown Delaware, Ohio.

The Delaware County Recorder's Office requires a "live" person to handle the recording of Deeds, Mortgages and other instruments. This service is provided by Probate Paralegal Services, LLC for a flat fee of $50 per instrument. Included in this fee are meetings with the:

• Delaware County Engineer's Office, Map Room to obtain approval of the legal description
• Delaware County Auditor's Office to file conveyance fee exemption statements or attend to the payment of conveyance fees (as appropriate)
• Delaware County Recorder's Office to attend to the recording of the instrument and to provide mailing instructions for the return of the originally recorded instrument by mail to the preparer in a pre-addressed, postage paid envelope provided by the preparer

A discount is available for multiple, same day recordings that can be accomplished in one trip to the Delaware County Administration building.
